Give To God, Give Up Worry!

I wrote this post a while ago.
Hello. I have gone through some rough stuff and still am, but I want to share this truth. Once you pray and give something to God, asking Him to make it better (or whatever), you don't have to worry from that moment on because God can handle it. You just do what you're suppose to do, and leave it all up to Him. Worrying is counter productive, and the opposite of trusting God. It's taking matters back into your own hands, and we shouldn't do that if we give it to God. He loves us and He WANTS to help us, we just have to let Him, and let Him be Him—our great, loving, merciful, wise, perfect, and able Father.
My prayer: So Jesus, please help me to completely give it to You, and not take it back. I choose to trust you, and believe that you are for me and not against me. But also, God, help me and make me humble and wise, making sure I follow Your voice, not mine. Help my motives to reflect Yours.

That's this week's word.

After looking it up, I found many definitions, and I won't include any today, but I would like to make the point of this:
We need to make time for God.

I don't know about you, but I have had an inner struggle with this.
It's not that I don't have time for God, I just choose to do other stuff with that time—I choose to fill it with my will, if that makes sense. So yes, I also need to
 make time for God.

It's important, especially if we have given our lives to God.
If we give our lives to God, he should have every part of our lives—including our time.
We shouldn't just become a Christian, and act like nothing ever happened.

We live in a world plunged in darkness and most find it hard to live in the light in either one way or the other.
We were once of that darkness, but since we have been redeemed by Jesus, we are in the light. We are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).

Ephesians 5:8-11 says, "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light...and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness...."

"We Are" by Kari Jobe.

Now what does this all have to do with time?

We need to use the time we have to do the things we should be doing!
We need to spend time with God, serving Him & others, and reaching the lost, etc.
We need to pray.
We need to read the Bible, and think about it.
We need to talk to other believers about the Bible, and other things, like the works of God, and who He is. We help each other if we seek Him together.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
-Proverbs 27:17

We need share Jesus with unbelievers, even if it's just by the example we set.
We need to praise Him.
We need to think on His greatness and goodness.
We need to think about His sacrifice—how Jesus died for us—and how he takes away all our sins if we come to Him.

"How Deep The Father's Love For Us" by Selah

We need to use our time to do His will...above our own.

So let's take the time and seek God & to do His will.
Let your time be your sacrifice, and you'll see that it was well worth it.

May He be our vision.

Have a great day!

We Live in Blessing

Hey everyone!

We all are blessed.
By who? God.
His blessings are incredible,
and His mercies are new every morning.

(These are pictures I took in 2016.)

God blesses us with the fact that leaves are so beautiful in the autumn.

He blesses us with people.
He blesses us with hope, and joy no matter the situation
if we accept it, and live it.

Blessings are all around us—and that goes for everyone—we just have to look for them/at them.
You see, blessings go past what we might normally think of...
to the small stuff, like grass, smiling, and the wind
and the big stuff, like mountains, victories, and friends.

Blessings are everywhere, whether man-made, part of creation, or whatever.
Without God, nothing would be possible, but because of Him, we LIVE in blessings every day.
My very breath is a blessing.

So while we are thinking about blessings,
let's bless the Lord. :)

Have a great day.

This Wednesday's word is: faithful.

Have you ever thought about how faithful God is?
Like, seriously! His best friends ignore Him, mess up, hurt others against His will, abuse their relationship with Him, don't make time for Him, put other stuff above Him that doesn't really matter in the long haul, etc.
And yet...
He's there.

He doesn't leave, doesn't mess up, doesn't ignore, doesn't hurt, doesn't abuse His relationships with us; He makes time for us, and puts us above all other creatures and things on this earth. And that matters in the long haul.
He is...faithful.
God keeps His promises, and He loves us even beyond the word faithful!

Bible Verses:

"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war." -Revelation 19:11

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." -1 John 1:9

"If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful; He cannot deny who He is" -2 Timothy 2:13

A great song about how God is faithful.

We could never be as faithful as God is, but I want to be faithful to God, and doing His will.
Also, we can be faithful in other things, like school (this is hard, and I definitely fall short, but it is good in the long run if you are faithful in it), to our friends (in the right ways—make sure you don't go against God's will), in marriage to your spouse, purity, your word (yet again, make sure you are being faithful in the right ways, not the wrong) etc.

Some definitions for faithful according to Google dictionary (or whatever that is that pops up when you look up a definition for a word):

"loyal, constant, and steadfast"
"true to the facts or the original"

All these pictures are mine—do not use at all.

What do you think about "faithful"?

A Thought on Memories

Memories are important.
Don't block them out.
Learn from them if needed, and
yes, there are some that we don't need to dwell on,
cherish the good ones
and don't forget
to make new memories
to cherish as well!
(Even if they are not
with the same people.)

Will you consider?

Hey, reader!
I know I said a while ago that I wasn't looking for any more sponsors, but I changed my mind. I want to finish this thing. :)
Will you please help me?
Will you consider donating to my cause? Literally even $1 or more? Everything counts. I also need sponsors ($33/month).
It's going towards helping people in third world countries get education, food, water, clothes, etc. It's real, and important. The organization is ChildFund International. Click the name to learn more.
[pic from]
If you do want to donate, just comment below, and I can help you with that part. If you just go through the website, though, it won't help my cause.
What's my cause? Because of ChildFund, I get to have a song that I co-wrote produced professionally, but I committed to helping ChildFund provide for 30 kids in return.

Thanks for popping by!

So, I was planning on blogging about a word once a week for September, October, and November, but I am going to just stick to September for now instead.

When I googled the definition for genuine, these are two things I got:
"truly what something is said to be; authentic."
"(of a person, emotion, or action) sincere."

I have been very far from being genuine, but this is something that I want to be.
I want to be genuine in my faith and belief of God, and the lifestyle I should have that reflects Jesus. I also want to be genuine in other parts of my life as well.
I want to be genuine in loving others with the love of God.

What do you think?
